Our Setting, Toys and Activities
This page shows my home and the environment we will be caring for your child in.
We have a dedicated playroom for childminding filled with toys, arts & crafts and information for both children and their parents. Our playroom has a kids table chairs, wooden play kitchen, dress up clothes, lego/mega bloks, arts & crafts, doll's house, garage cars and playmat, dressing table and various baby toys amongst other things.
Our back garden consists of a grassed area and a separate patio area. The patio area houses the trampoline with safety net (unfortunately this is not for minded children and belongs to my son), playhouse and water play wall feature, chalkboards as well as a flower bed. We also have a raised play house with slide and platform with slide and various outdoor toys including ride ons, scooters, seasaw toys and balls etc.
We have a WII and Kindle Fire with various games as well as full Sky package with parental controls.
For
nap times we use a travel cot and have video baby monitors. All toys and
equipment are regularly cleaned and checked. The front door and gates
are locked at all times with the keys within easy access while remaining
out of reach of the children. We also have cctv outside which is montiored and reviewed regularly in relation to our safeguarding policy.
